Processing

Psyllium Husk is produced from psyllium or Isabgol Seeds. The husk is a thin white epidermis covering the seed. The seed is dehusked from the seed by a purely mechanical process where no chemicals are used.

Process consists of mainly a complete cleaning of seeds at the Pre-cleaning and Cleaning sections. Then moving to the Grinding Section where the clean seeds are passed through grinding mills at eight passes along with separation of husk through a closed circuit. The husk is then passed through Gravity separators for further purification before custom packaging.

Our plant and equipment meets the standards set for the agricultural / Pharmaceutical products by the food & drugs administration authorities.
